2026-08-06chore: drop @param/@return tags that only restate Rust typesnsfisis
The ported docblocks copied @param and @return straight from the PHP source. When such a tag carries nothing but a type and an argument name, the Rust signature already states it, so the line is noise. Tags whose text adds prose beyond the type are kept. 2026-08-06refactor(php-shim): take filesystem paths as impl AsRef<Path>nsfisis
The shim's filesystem entry points took `&str` even though each one resolves to a local path through `std::fs` or a syscall, so callers holding a `PathBuf` had to stringify it at the call site. They now take `impl AsRef<Path>`, the form `file_exists`, `is_dir`, `unlink` and the rest of the already-converted set use. `Phar`, `PharData` and `ZipArchive` keep their archive path as a `PathBuf`. `PharData::compress` names the compressed sibling by appending the suffix to the file name rather than formatting the path into a `String`. Arguments PHP resolves through a stream wrapper (`fopen`, `file_put_contents`, `include`) still take `&str`, as do the byte-string operations (`dirname`, `basename`, `pathinfo`) and archive-internal entry names, which are `/`-joined logical names rather than OS paths. 2026-08-06feat(plugin): widen the RPC surface to LibraryInstaller-based pluginsnsfisis
An installer that extends LibraryInstaller reaches for the Composer object graph in ways the proxy did not answer: the download manager and the config, the writable repository methods, a React promise as its own return value, and `new Package(...)` from its supports() path. * `Composer::getConfig`/`getDownloadManager` are dispatched, and both classes become generated proxy stubs. Their reads and mutators answer from the Rust entity; the surfaces needing stubs of their own (ConfigSourceInterface, DownloaderInterface) stay explicit errors. * The download manager's futures are driven to completion and handed back as already-settled React promises, since PHP declares a non-nullable PromiseInterface there. A promise a plugin returns is drained the same way: settled yields its value, rejected re-raises, pending is an explicit error. * Proxy stubs now carry the real class's constructor and ask the Rust side to allocate the entity; reviving a stub for an existing entity binds the handle without running it. Classes Rust cannot build name themselves in the error. * The package proxy covers `Package`'s own setters, `CompletePackage`'s metadata, `RootPackage`'s root-only state, and `BasePackage::$id`. Link values and release dates still have no wire image, so the methods carrying them remain explicit errors.

2026-08-04fix(package): keep list-shaped license arrays in ValidatingArrayLoadernsfisis
PHP's `(array)` cast passes an array through unchanged, but the port only matched the map shape and wrapped a JSON list (e.g. ["MIT"]) as a single license value, which then failed the is-string check and was silently dropped from composer.lock / installed.json with a bogus warning. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-08-02fix(repository): resolve remaining late-binding hazards from the auditnsfisis
Three fixes for the ComposerRepository/FilesystemRepository/PlatformRepository hazards where inner-composition delegation skipped PHP's late-bound virtual dispatch: - ComposerRepository::has_package now builds its packageMap through the late-bound getPackages() equivalent, so lazy-providers repos surface the LogicException and available-packages repos load their package list, as in PHP, instead of silently answering false from the raw array. - RepositoryInterface::get_repo_name returns anyhow::Result<String>: PHP's getRepoName() counts through the late-bound initialize(), which is fallible in file-reading subclasses. FilesystemRepository and PackageRepository now run that initialization instead of freezing the inner array repository to an empty state (which also made a later write() truncate installed.json). Supporting changes keep the initialization chain callable from &self: JsonFile::read takes &self (indent moved into a RefCell), FilesystemRepository dev_mode became a Cell, and WritableArrayRepository dev_package_names a RefCell. - PlatformRepository::new routes constructor packages through its own add_package so the override handling and full platform initialization run as they do via PHP's parent constructor; the inner find_package/add_package delegations inside add_package (and ComposerRepository::add_package) gained the same is_initialized guard, since the constructor path would otherwise freeze the repository. Same defect class as 7db937af, 97b5211a and 3e367f78. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-08-02fix(json): propagate JsonFile::encode errors instead of unwrappingnsfisis
PHP's JsonFile::encode throws a RuntimeException when json_encode fails; the port swallowed that into an .unwrap() marked TODO(phase-c). Return anyhow::Result from encode/encode_with_options and propagate at every call site (print_table and list_repositories become Result-returning to carry it). Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-08-02refactor(php-shim): drop pack/unpack in favor of direct byte handlingnsfisis
The only callers were trivial fixed-format uses: reading the first four hash bytes as a native int, splitting in_addr byte strings, and building a constant ZIP EOCD record. Each site now does the byte manipulation directly, so the general-purpose shims are no longer needed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-08-02fix(symfony-finder): make Glob::to_regex regex-crate compatiblensfisis
Glob::toRegex emits PCRE-only constructs — the (?=[^\.]) look-ahead for the strict-leading-dot rule, the possessive [^/]++ in /**/ segments, and, via BaseExcludeFilter, the (?=$|/) dir-boundary look-ahead — which the regex crate cannot compile, so `archive` and every ArchivableFilesFinder path panicked. Rewrite the port to tokenize the glob (mirroring the PHP loop's dispatch) and resolve every no-dot constraint by recursive union expansion. The dir boundary must take part in that expansion (a trailing `*` matching zero characters drops the constraint onto the boundary itself), so BaseExcludeFilter now uses the new Glob::to_regex_dir_boundary instead of string surgery. Equivalence was verified against PHP 8.5.8 (vendored Glob.php + preg_match) over 66,176 glob x flag x subject combinations with zero divergence. Un-ignores the five archiver tests blocked on this and updates GitExcludeFilterTest's expected pattern text, an explicitly authorized exception to the no-test-modification rule. 2026-08-02refactor(git-exclude-filter): pass the line parser as a method referencensfisis

2026-08-01feat(php-shim): implement Phar/PharData and the zlib/bzip2 functionsnsfisis
Adopt the tar, flate2, and bzip2 crates to fill in the phar.rs and compress.rs todos: PharData tar/zip reading, building, and whole-archive compression, plus a native .phar reader that follows the php.net file-format manual and verifies hash-based signatures. Callers now propagate the constructor/extract errors PHP throws, and fwrite accepts byte strings so gzread no longer needs lossy UTF-8. The native .phar writing API stays todo!() (no call sites; Composer's Compiler is not ported) and OPENSSL phar signatures are accepted unverified (TODO(phase-c)). This unblocks Tar::getComposerJson and the tar/phar/gzip downloaders; tar_test (7), artifact_repository_test (2), and phar_archiver_test zip (1) are un-ignored. The archive command itself still panics because ArchiveManager::archive always generates glob excludes whose look-ahead regexes the regex crate cannot compile; converting those patterns to regex-compatible ones is a separate, still-undecided work item. 2026-07-24fix(array-dumper): dump source/dist mirrors as a JSON arraynsfisis
ArrayDumper::dump built the mirrors field as PhpMixed::Array keyed by stringified index ("0", "1", ...), which this codebase's PhpMixed JSON serialization renders as an object. PHP just assigns the plain, sequentially-keyed mirrors array directly, which json_encode renders as a JSON array. Use PhpMixed::List instead, matching the actual shape written to composer.lock.
2026-07-24fix(package): rewrite dist-reference SHA regex without look-aroundnsfisis
Package::set_source_dist_references and LockTransaction's dist-url mirroring both used {(?<=/|sha=)[a-f0-9]{40}(?=/|$)}i, but the regex crate has no look-around support at all and panics compiling it. Per docs/dev/regex-porting.md, rewrote the boundary assertions into capturing groups and switched to Preg::replace_callback, which re-emits the captured delimiters around the replaced reference.
2026-07-24fix(locker): return stability-flags as int, not stringnsfisis
Locker::get_stability_flags returned IndexMap<String, String>, converting each value via PhpMixed::as_string(), which only matches the String variant. composer.lock's "stability-flags" values are always JSON integers (BasePackage::STABILITIES), so every flag silently decoded to "" and installer.rs's downstream .parse::<i64>() defaulted it to 0 (stable). This made any locked package pinned via a non-stable stability-flags entry look "unacceptable" during `composer install`, silently dropping it from the solver's pool instead of fixing/requiring it — turning a real dependency conflict into a spurious "lock file needs changes" result. Return i64 directly, matching RootPackageInterface::get_stability_flags and set_lock_data's existing convention for this same PHP array shape.
2026-07-20fix(php-shim): use PhpMixed::to_bool() for PHP truthy castsnsfisis
Several call sites coerced PhpMixed to bool via `.as_bool()` (which only matches a literal Bool variant) where the corresponding PHP code does a plain `(bool)` cast or truthy check (isset()/array_key_exists() + implicit bool conversion). This silently dropped truthy non-bool values (e.g. String("true"), String("1"), Int(1)) to their unwrap_or default instead of PHP's actual truthy result. Switched these sites to PhpMixed::to_bool(), which implements PHP's full truthy-cast rules.
2026-07-20fix(validating-array-loader): un-ignore test_fund_command by fixing empty checknsfisis
validate_array judged emptiness via as_array(), which only matches PhpMixed::Array, so a non-empty PhpMixed::List (e.g. a funding array) was misjudged as empty and dropped, diverging from PHP's !count() check. Match both Array and List. The stale ignore reason on test_fund_command no longer applies: init_temp_composer injects packagist:false so no network is reached, and the downloader stack is reqwest-based (no curl shim todo!()). Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-07-20fix(process-executor): un-ignore 11 tests by implementing execute_async mock ↵nsfisis
support ProcessExecutor::execute_async's mock branch was an unimplemented todo!(), blocking every test whose code path calls it (feature-branch git diffing, system-unzip/7z fallback extraction). Implement it by: - Adding Process::__mock (mirroring the existing ZipArchive::__mock pattern) so execute_async can resolve with a fabricated, already- terminated Process instead of spawning a real subprocess. - Extracting the sync mock's expectation-matching logic into a shared ProcessExecutor::mock_match, wrapping the mock state in a RefCell so it works from execute_async's &self/&mut self receivers. - Setting error_output/capture_output from the mock branch, matching PHP's ProcessExecutorMock::executeAsync sharing doExecute with the sync path; execute_async now takes &mut self for this (safe, since the borrow only needs to live through the synchronous setup, not across the .await). - Turning a strict-mode expectation mismatch from a panic!() into a shirabe_php_shim::RuntimeException Err, mirroring PHPUnit's AssertionFailedError extending \RuntimeException: PHP call sites that catch (\RuntimeException $e) around a mocked git/hg/svn call (e.g. Git::get_mirror_default_branch, GitDriver::supports) treat a mismatch as an ordinary recoverable failure, and now so does the port. The RefMut is dropped before firing an expectation's optional callback so a re-entrant callback doesn't panic on double-borrow. Also fixes two real bugs found while porting test_private_repository_ no_interaction: GitHub::authorize_oauth and GitLab::authorize_oauth checked their domains config via PhpMixed::as_array(), which only matches the Array (map) variant, but github-domains/gitlab-domains default to PhpMixed::List, so the check always returned false and OAuth token lookup was silently skipped. Use the in_array shim instead, matching PHP's in_array() semantics. Also fix Git::run_command's "capture credentials from git remote -v" call, which used the panic- swallowing execute_args wrapper instead of a fallible execute(), so a mock mismatch there couldn't reach get_mirror_default_branch's catch. Un-ignores: - zip_downloader_test::test_system_unzip_only_{good,failed} - zip_downloader_test::test_non_windows_fallback_{good,failed} - event_dispatcher_test::test_dispatcher_outputs_error_on_failed_command - root_package_loader_test::test_feature_branch_pretty_version - version_guesser_test::test_guess_version_reads_and_respects_non_feature_branches_configuration_for_arbitrary_naming{,_regex} - version_guesser_test::test_remote_branches_are_selected - github_driver_test::test_private_repository_no_interaction (also adds the missing #[serial], since it seeds the shared Git::VERSION static that vcs_repository_test::test_load_versions depends on for real) - init_command_test::test_get_git_config, made deterministic by pointing HOME at a throwaway dir with its own .gitconfig instead of depending on the host's global git config Deduplicates the GitVersionGuard/RestoreEnv test-drop-guard idioms into tests/common/test_case.rs instead of reimplementing them per file. 2026-07-19fix(root-package-loader): un-ignore 4 tests by fixing stability-flag isset() ↵nsfisis
port extract_stability_flags ported PHP's `isset($stabilityFlags[$name]) && $stabilityFlags[$name] > $stability` as `unwrap_or(i64::MAX) > stability`, so the check always short-circuited to "already more unstable" and no flag (e.g. from an explicit `*@dev` requirement) was ever recorded. Fixed using Option::is_some_and, a direct translation of PHP's isset() && ... check. Also fixes tests/common/test_case.rs's shared installation_manager() helper, which built a real InstallationManager::new instead of the __new_mock constructor (mirroring PHP's FactoryMock::createInstallationManager()), so it always had zero installers registered and wrote install-path: null into fixture installed.json files. Un-ignores test_reinstall_command, test_locally_modified_packages_from_source/ _from_dist, and test_package_still_present_error_when_no_install_flag_used — the first three were already passing (their #[ignore] reasons were stale), the last is fixed by the test_case.rs change above. Updates the #[ignore] reasons on installer_test.rs's three fixture-driven integration tests to reflect their current state: the install pipeline now runs end-to-end, but the ~189-fixture installer/ set still hits several independent, unrelated bugs/gaps that need case-by-case triage rather than a single fix. 2026-07-19fix(show-command): un-ignore 10 tests by fixing show-warnings typing and ↵nsfisis
repo bugs Replace the PhpMixed-based `$showWarnings` hack in VersionSelector:: findBestCandidate with a typed ShowWarnings enum (Always / Predicate), letting ShowCommand::findLatestPackage pass its real closure instead of hardcoding `true`. Fix the --no-dev branch in ShowCommand::execute, which built `repos` from an empty package list instead of sharing the same InstalledRepository as `installed_repo`. Pass repository handles instead of pre-borrowed `&dyn RepositoryInterface` refs into get_package/ generate_package_tree/add_tree to stop a RefCell double-borrow panic on --all/--locked. Add the missing CompletePackage/RootPackage set_release_date setter so the outdated sorting-by-age test can set fixture dates. Resolve OutputFormatterStyleStack::pop's empty-style todo!() via clone_box(), and fix FileDownloader's cache-GC log call to pass the VERY_VERBOSE verbosity PHP uses. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-07-19fix(alias-package): stop delegating own-state accessors to aliasOfnsfisis
AliasPackage wrongly delegated several methods (id, names, unique name, pretty string, full pretty version, repository, __toString) to aliasOf, but PHP's AliasPackage inherits these from BasePackage unmodified, so they must use the alias's own state instead. This collapsed alias and aliasOf into the same SAT literal id, breaking the solver's alias-resolution rules; un-ignore the two solver tests that exposed it.
2026-07-18chore: rustfmtnsfisis
2026-07-18refactor(downloader): take &self across the downloader hierarchynsfisis
Concurrent package operations call into the same downloader instances through Rc<RefCell<dyn DownloaderInterface>>; with &mut self methods every call holds a RefMut across its awaits, which panics with 'already mutably borrowed' the moment two operations overlap. This is groundwork for fanning out InstallationManager's download/install loops (same rework HttpDownloader/CurlDownloader already got). - DownloaderInterface/ChangeReportInterface/ArchiveDownloader/ VcsDownloader methods now take &self; as_change_report_interface returns &dyn instead of &mut dyn. - Implementors move their genuinely mutable state behind cells: FileDownloader.additional_cleanup_paths, the archive downloaders' cleanup_executed, ZipDownloader.zip_archive_object, VcsDownloaderBase.has_cleaned_changes, GitDownloader's stash/discard/ cache maps and GitUtil, SvnDownloader.cache_credentials, PerforceDownloader.perforce. FileDownloader.io gains a RefCell layer so get_local_changes can keep PHP's NullIO swap under &self. - ProcessExecutor::execute_async now returns a future that captures everything up front instead of borrowing the executor, and call sites build the future before awaiting, so no borrow on the shared executor is held while a subprocess runs. - Filesystem::remove_directory_async becomes remove_directory_async_via taking the Rc handle: the Filesystem is only borrowed for the sync head/tail, never across the rm subprocess await (sync borrow_mut users like rename/ensure_directory_exists would otherwise collide). - DownloadManager async call sites hold shared borrows only. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-07-18perf(process-executor): make execute_async genuinely concurrentnsfisis
execute_async was a serial pump: it queued a job, then drove it to completion itself via wait_id()'s blocking usleep loop before returning, so concurrent callers never overlapped even when polled together through FuturesUnordered. Rewrite it as a single &self async fn mirroring the CurlDownloader/ HttpDownloader rework: a tokio Semaphore sized by max_jobs (COMPOSER_MAX_PARALLEL_PROCESSES, PHP parity) gates admission, the child is started non-blocking, and an async 1ms sleep loop pumps is_running()/check_timeout() while yielding to the reactor so sibling jobs genuinely run in parallel. The Job table, STATUS_* lifecycle, start_job/mark_job_done/count_active_jobs/wait/wait_id all had no remaining callers and are removed. &self also lets callers hold only a shared borrow across their awaits (zip_downloader, version_guesser, filesystem via the new get_process_handle), which would otherwise panic with 'already mutably borrowed' once two async jobs overlap on the same Rc<RefCell<ProcessExecutor>>. The async mock branch no longer consumes the expectation before hitting its todo!(): the panic made that bookkeeping unobservable. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-07-18perf(regex): eliminate per-call clone overhead in preg_* dispatchnsfisis
regex::Regex::clone() does not share the underlying meta engine's search-cache pool, so every fresh clone pays a ~10us warmup cost on its first use. Two changes together eliminate this across nearly all preg_* call sites: - A php_regex! macro resolves PHP-style patterns to a per-call-site &'static regex::Regex (via regex-macro's LazyLock), applied at the majority of call sites throughout the codebase. - Call sites still passing dynamic pattern strings go through PATTERN_CACHE, which now stores Arc<(Regex, bool)> and hands out Arc::clone()s instead of cloning the Regex itself. PregPattern::resolve() returns a ResolvedPattern enum (Arc or 'static reference) rather than an owned Regex, so neither path ever clones the Regex proper. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-07-11chore: use fully-qualified name for Rc/RefCellnsfisis
2026-07-05feat(validating-array-loader): implement LoaderInterfacensfisis
Convert errors/warnings/config to RefCell so load() can satisfy the trait's &self signature, matching upstream's `instanceof ValidatingArrayLoader` check in VcsRepository. This makes the InvalidPackageException downcast path in VcsRepository reachable for the first time instead of being permanently dead code.
2026-07-04fix(package): reset repository/id on package clonensfisis
AnyPackage::dup() (PHP's `clone $package`) copied the `repository` and `id` fields verbatim instead of resetting them like PHP's BasePackage::__clone() does. LibraryInstaller::install() relies on the duplicate being unbound so it can register the package with the local repository; without the reset, add_package() silently failed with "A package can only be added to one repository", leaving installed.json empty after every install/create-project run.
2026-07-02chore(lint): ban std::io::Read/Write, Any, Command use importsnsfisis
Extends no_banned_use to cover std::any::Any, std::io::Read/Write, and std::process::Command, and teaches the linter to allow `as _` imports so trait methods can still be brought into scope without binding the banned name. Fully qualifies all existing usages across the codebase.
2026-06-29feat(package): implement RootAliasPackage root getters via owned returnsnsfisis
It is faithful to PHP's by-value array/string semantics. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-29chore(lint): ban bare `use anyhow::Result` and fully qualify itnsfisis
Add a no_banned_use linter that forbids importing anyhow::Result, and update all call sites to reference it via its fully-qualified path so it is never confused with std::result::Result. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-28test(installer): port InstallerTest unit and integration harnessnsfisis
Port composer/tests/Composer/Test/InstallerTest.php. testInstaller (the provideInstaller cases) is fully ported and passes; the three integration tests port doTestIntegration in full (the .test fixture loader, FactoryMock, the in-process console Application with install/update commands, and the PHPUnit assertStringMatchesFormat matcher) and remain #[ignore]'d since the install pipeline is not yet executable end-to-end. Add test-only `__`-seams to the concrete types the test depends on, since their consumers (e.g. Locker takes the concrete InstallationManager) and the subclass-style mocks have no trait to mock: InstallationManager (recording mock + as_any), Factory (__create_mock), VersionGuesser, and InstalledFilesystemRepository. The production path (mock: false) is unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-28fix(http): avoid nested tokio runtime panic in download pathnsfisis
The CurlDownloader owned a tokio runtime and block_on'd reqwest from its sync tick(), while the repository/installer/downloader sync bridges each created another Runtime and block_on'd async fns that reach that leaf. Driving one Runtime::block_on from within another panics with "Cannot start a runtime from within a runtime", hit by `require` when fetching p2 metadata. Switch CurlDownloader to a blocking reqwest client (its own internal thread, never nested) and replace the per-call Runtime::new().block_on bridges with a no-reactor sync_executor::block_on helper. No awaited future parks on a reactor once the only async I/O is blocking, so the helper can be nested freely. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-28refactor: add linternsfisis
2026-06-28feat(package): impl alias getter delegation via owned String returnsnsfisis

2026-06-27fix(json): encode empty stdClass fields as {} not []nsfisis
Empty PhpMixed::Array now serializes as [], so the several places that build a PHP `new \stdClass` via an empty Array were emitting [] where Composer writes {}. Use PhpMixed::Object for those empty-object cases: - InitCommand: require / require-dev - Locker::fixupJsonDataType: stability-flags / platform / platform-dev - JsonConfigSource fallback: require/config keys that must stay objects Align the affected test expectations with Composer: JsonFile::read() decodes with assoc=true, collapsing the on-disk {} back to [], so reads expect []. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-27test: port Composer tests unblocked by mockall, add seamsnsfisis
Port 11 categories of previously-ignored Composer tests now reachable with the mockall crate: DownloadManager, VCS/Perforce/File downloaders, VersionSelector, PlatformRepository, Auditor, installer/FilesystemRepository, RootPackageLoader, util auth/http, commands, and Cache. Extract test seams additively on concrete structs as *Interface traits (Runtime, HhvmDetector, VersionGuesser, RepositorySet, Perforce, BinaryInstaller) plus mock-field seams (Cache, Filesystem); consumers take trait objects. Mocks are defined locally in the test crates via mockall::mock!, since automock-generated mocks are cfg(test)-gated and invisible across the integration-test boundary. dataProviders are ported in full; tests blocked by unported shims stay #[ignore] with documented reasons rather than reduced or weakened. Fix product bugs surfaced by the ports: - util/github: use the exception code, not the HTTP status, for 401/403 - advisory: serialize empty audit maps as [] to match PHP json_encode - repository/filesystem and downloader/file: fix RefCell double-borrow panics Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-27refactor(composer): hold managers behind *Interface traitsnsfisis
Composer/PartialComposer exposed its RepositoryManager, InstallationManager, EventDispatcher, Locker, DownloadManager, AutoloadGenerator and ArchiveManager as concrete types, but Composer's public setters (setDownloadManager() etc.) let plugins swap in subclasses. Introduce a *Interface trait per manager and store each as Rc<RefCell<dyn ...Interface>> so a replacement is honored. Only Composer's slots and the sinks fed from its accessors become trait objects; managers injected concretely at construction keep their concrete references, matching PHP semantics. Fluent setters on the affected classes now return () and Locker::update_hash is de-generified to a boxed FnOnce so the traits stay object-safe. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-27fix(locker): build InstalledRepository with locked and root reposnsfisis
getMissingRequirementInfo created an empty InstalledRepository (both repos were left commented out as a stub), so every locked requirement was reported as "not present in the lock file". Pass [lockedRepo, rootRepo] to the constructor as the PHP does. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-27refactor: fix compiler warnings and clippy warningsnsfisis
2026-06-26feat(dependency-resolver): wire operation get_package and unblock solver testsnsfisis
Override OperationInterface::get_package for Install/Uninstall/MarkAlias* operations so trait-object dispatch no longer hits the default todo!(), and implement Rule::is_caused_by_lock's locked-repository lookup via Request::get_locked_repository (LockArrayRepository::get_packages is infallible). Change PackageInterface::get_type to return String (matching PHP getType(): string) so AliasPackage can delegate live to its aliasOf handle across the RefCell instead of an impossible &str borrow. Un-ignores 25 SolverTest cases; 2 alias cases stay ignored pending a real solver alias-resolution discrepancy. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-26test: recover binary_installer full-compat port; implement posix_getpwuidnsfisis
The stashed binary_installer port was blocked on posix_getpwuid (reached via Platform::is_virtual_box_guest); implement it via getpwuid(3) extern "C". The 4 install-and-exec tests now pass with the stream I/O and Process cwd fixes. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-26test: port 32 command/repository/downloader testsnsfisis
Add create_installed_json/create_composer_lock test helpers. Port command (8), repository path/forgejo/perforce/vcs (11), and fossil/hg/download_manager (13) tests. Fix production porting bugs: root_package_loader/forgejo_url/version_bumper regex delimiters, repository_manager create_repository_by_class, array_loader isset, licenses_command RefCell borrow; implement disk_free_space and touch2/touch3 via libc. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-06-26test: port 24 command/repository/package/util tests; add TlsHelpernsfisis
Port command (9), util gitlab/forgejo/tls (6), package (6), repository (3) tests. Implement TlsHelper. Fix porting bugs: config_command extra merge, RootAliasPackage setters, ValidatingArrayLoader isset, repository_factory name generation, forgejo exception code, version_parser error chaining. 2026-06-26feat(http): reimplement CurlDownloader on reqwest; port 15 more testsnsfisis
Replace the libcurl-shim CurlDownloader with a reqwest+tokio implementation per the .ken sketch, resolving the construction panic that blocked command tests (mock path via __new_mock is untouched). Port remote_filesystem (7), hg/svn driver (4), zip_archiver/git_exclude_filter (4) tests. Fix hg/svn/git_exclude regex-delimiter and svn result-propagation porting bugs. 2026-06-26test: port 59 autoload/vcs/installer/util/command tests; fix output capturensfisis
Port autoload_generator (24), bitbucket (14), suggested_packages (11), git_driver (6), archive_manager (3), and a bump command test. Fix the ApplicationTester output-capture root cause (php://memory streams must be readable regardless of fopen mode). Implement posix_getuid/geteuid, the PCRE 'A' anchored modifier, php_strip_whitespace, stream_get_wrappers, is_callable scalars; fix preg_quote angle-bracket escaping and class-map parser regexes. 2026-06-26test: port 35 auth/installer/io/zip/bitbucket tests; implement date_creatensfisis
Port auth_helper (14), library_installer (8), console_io (7), zip_downloader (3), git_bitbucket_driver (3) tests. Implement date_create/strtotime for the ISO8601/ RFC3339/relative formats Composer uses (unknown input -> None, no silent guess). Fix production bugs: Question::is_assoc list-vs-assoc, auth_helper gitlab-domains list handling, LibraryInstaller RefCell double-borrow, ZipArchive::extract_to ErrorException propagation. 2026-06-26test: port 70 perforce/repository/downloader/installer/dispatcher testsnsfisis
Port perforce (36), locker (10), composer_repository (7), installation_manager (6), file_downloader (5), and event_dispatcher (6) tests via the mock infra. Fix production porting bugs surfaced en route: BufferIO::get_output look-behind regex, ComposerRepository list-form package iteration and initialize dispatch, gethostname and spl_autoload_functions shims; add EventDispatcher get_listeners test seam. 2026-06-25feat(semver): hand-port constraint AND-split to drop look-around regexnsfisis
The PCRE delimiter `(?<!^|as|[=>< ,]) *(?<!-)[, ](?!-) *(?!,|as|$)` used to split AND-constraints relies on look-around, which the regex crate cannot compile (parse_constraints panicked). Reproduce its semantics in a hand-written `split_and_constraints` scanner shared by VersionParser and RootPackageLoader. Also model `method_exists` for the class-name form (shirabe runs no dumped Composer ClassLoader) and un-ignore the InstalledVersions tests, serialized via `#[serial]` since they share global static state.
