Replace TODO(phase-b) placeholders (todo!() and commented-out code)
with real implementations:
- Share JsonFile via Rc<RefCell<JsonFile>> so JsonConfigSource and the
owning command can hold the same instance (base_config_command,
config_command, repository_command, require_command, create_project,
remove_command, factory)
- Change InstallerInterface methods (is_installed, download, prepare,
cleanup, get_install_path) to &mut self so initialize_vendor_dir can
run, propagated to all installer implementations
- Pass io/config/filesystem/process by clone instead of moving or
stubbing (auth_helper, svn_driver, curl_downloader, library_installer)
- Make TransportException Clone and store it by value in VcsRepository
- Clone operations in Transaction sort, root_aliases/temporary_constraints
in RepositorySet::create_pool, and share CompletePackage via handle in
PlatformRepository
- Wire up set_option, set_requires/set_dev_requires, installation manager
setters, BumpCommand::set_composer, and clean_backups/set_local_phar

Reconcile the VcsDriverInterface trait with the concrete drivers so every
driver implements it as in PHP, where each driver extends VcsDriver.
- Make cache-mutating getters take &mut self in the trait, matching the
inherent methods' lazy-cache semantics; update vcs_repository consumers.
- Change supports() to take Rc<RefCell<Config>> and return Result<bool>,
completing GitDriver::supports deep ls-remote and its config wiring.
- Add base get_composer_information to Git/Hg/Fossil/Perforce and an
impl VcsDriverInterface block to every driver, delegating to inherent
methods and absorbing type differences in the impl.

Response only ever reads the url out of the request array, so accept it
as a String directly. With url always present the 'url key missing'
LogicException can no longer fire, so Response::new and CurlResponse::new
return Self instead of a double Result. Also drops the unused
from_php_mixed/to_php_mixed stubs and the request_to_map helper.

Implement the self-recursion in filterRequiredPackages so that
packages required transitively are collected, matching the PHP
source. BasePackageHandle is a type alias for PackageInterfaceHandle,
so no cast is needed.

Implement the previously stubbed phase-b TODO so getSecurityAdvisories
skips advisories whose affected_versions do not match the requested
package constraint. Share the package VersionParser with
PartialSecurityAdvisory::create across both PackageRepository and
ComposerRepository instead of a separate semver parser instance.

The repository type check was an internal invariant, not a recoverable
error condition. Replace the Result-returning validation with an
assert!, matching Composer's design where add_repository throws only on
a programming error, and drop the now-unneeded error handling at call
sites.

Resolve the phase-b TODO by adding an as_writable_repository_interface_mut
downcast helper on RepositoryInterface, mirroring PHP's instanceof
WritableRepositoryInterface check, and propagate inner errors.

Resolve the phase-b TODO that left the supported-link-types loop as dead
code (links were always an empty Vec), so requires/conflicts/provides/
replaces/require-dev are dumped again via
PackageInterface::get_links_for_type, matching the PHP magic-call loop.
Every Link in production is constructed with a pretty constraint (all
ArrayLoader/AliasPackage/PlatformRepository/InstalledRepository sites
pass one), so make Link::pretty_constraint a required String instead of
Option<String>. get_pretty_constraint() now returns &str directly rather
than anyhow::Result<&str>, dropping the unreachable
UnexpectedValueException guard, and all call sites are updated.

* Config::merge called array_merge_recursive where PHP uses plain
array_merge (string-key overwrite); switch those six sites to
array_merge.
* provides/replaces merges that may carry an AliasPackage's
self.version numeric keys ("0","1",...) were collapsing under naive
chain/insert/or_insert; route them through a new array_merge_map().

Change RepositoryInterface and WritableRepositoryInterface read methods
(find_package, find_packages, get_packages, load_packages, search,
get_providers, get_canonical_packages) to take &mut self and return
anyhow::Result, so lazy-loading repositories such as ComposerRepository
can perform fallible I/O and mutate internal state on access. Update all
implementors and call sites to propagate the Result and pass mutable
references.

Replace the i64 bitmask + encode_with_indent split with a JsonEncodeOptions
struct (Default = JSON_UNESCAPED_SLASHES|JSON_PRETTY_PRINT|JSON_UNESCAPED_UNICODE,
default indent). encode/write each get a default form plus an explicit
encode_with_options/write_with_options variant, mirroring PHP's optional
$options argument. write_with_options always encodes with self.indent, matching
PHP write().
Also reconcile call sites with the PHP sources: most ported sites passed 0 where
Composer omits the argument (= default flags), so JsonManipulator/ShowCommand and
JsonConfigSource now use the default options; only ComposerRepository and Locker
genuinely pass 0.

Implement LockArrayRepository::new/add_package and
CanonicalPackagesTrait::get_packages (delegating to inner
ArrayRepository), expose add_package on LockArrayRepositoryHandle, and
add set_root_package_alias on CompleteAliasPackageHandle.
With these in place, Locker::get_locked_repository is fully wired:
load each locked package, register it (plus its aliasOf for
AliasPackages) in package_by_name, then build CompleteAliasPackage
handles for lock-file aliases via as_complete_package() narrowing.
Drop the unused RepositoryInterface::clone_box default and the stale
inherent LockArrayRepository::clone_box (no callers).

Package/CompletePackage/RootPackage
Fill the trait-impl todo!() across the package accessor layer so loaded
packages are actually usable (the ArrayLoader::load path depends on it):
- Package: implement BasePackage/PackageInterface from struct fields and
existing inherent methods; Display via get_unique_name.
- CompletePackage: delegate PackageInterface to inner Package.
- RootPackage: delegate CompletePackageInterface/PackageInterface to inner
CompletePackage; RootPackageInterface link setters delegate to Package.
Correct three unfaithful trait signatures found during implementation:
- get_target_dir returns Option<String> (PHP computes a normalized value;
a borrow cannot represent it, and AliasPackage could not implement &str
across its aliasOf handle).
- RootPackageInterface link setters take IndexMap<String, Link>, matching
Package and the real ArrayLoader caller (PHP RootPackage inherits
Package::setRequires; the Link[] docblock was imprecise).
- get_full_pretty_version takes a DisplayMode enum instead of a raw i64;
the match is now exhaustive, so it returns String without an error path.
Move mirror conversion to the boundaries: PackageInterface mirror methods
use Vec<Mirror> (the typed form, matching the inherent methods), with
array<->Mirror conversion done by the producer (ComposerRepository) and
consumer (ArrayDumper).

Replace todo!("VersionParser::new()") with VersionParser::new() at 6
call sites (array_loader, base_command, create_project_command,
vcs_repository, http_downloader x2) and EventDispatcher::io_clone with
self.io.clone(). All targets already exist on their types.

getFileContent catch type
Remove 17 TODO(phase-b) markers across exception-modeling sites where the
existing single-Result closure+match already faithfully models the PHP
try/catch (catch paths only rethrow, retry, log, or silently ignore and
never yield a recoverable value, so a double Result is unnecessary).
Fix SvnDriver::get_file_content to catch only RuntimeException (matching
PHP's catch RuntimeException) and extract its .message instead of calling
e.to_string() on the anyhow::Error, which would panic while the shim
exception Display is unimplemented; other errors now propagate.

Resolve three category-4 TODO(phase-b) placeholders that were short-circuited
to None/true, by routing them through downcast mechanisms that already exist:
- package_sorter: PackageInterfaceHandle::as_root() for the
instanceof RootPackageInterface check that adds dev-requires
- platform_repository::is_complete_package: as_complete().is_some(),
consistent with the inlined check already in add_package
- create_project_command: PlatformRequirementFilterInterface::as_any()
downcast to IgnoreAllPlatformRequirementFilter
No new trait infrastructure introduced.

Resolve the PHP try/catch instanceof checks that select on exception type:
TransportException-only catches in RepositorySet, SvnDriver and JsonFile;
the RuntimeException/IrrecoverableDownloadException handleError closure and
the RuntimeException update-retry catch in DownloadManager. Each uses
anyhow::Error::downcast_ref and reads the exception's message field directly
(Display is todo\!() on the shim exceptions). PHPUnit\Framework\Exception
checks in VcsDownloader are documented as intentionally always-false since
the test framework is out of scope.

Implement the security advisory pool filter end to end, plus the
remaining actionable wirings it unblocked.
- Unify the PartialSecurityAdvisory|SecurityAdvisory union as the
PartialOrFullSecurityAdvisory enum and make the advisory types Clone,
so advisories can be collected and stored; Pool.security_removed_versions
now carries the union. This also unblocks PoolOptimizer's clone of the
security-removed versions.
- Thread the filter result through run_security_advisory_filter/build_pool
as anyhow::Result.
- Introduce typed PlatformRepositoryHandle and pass platform repos as
handles through determine_requirements instead of &PlatformRepository.
- Wire RuleSetGenerator's is_unacceptable_fixed_or_locked_package check
and UpdateCommand's non-locked installed-packages branch.

Share LockArrayRepository via Rc<RefCell<_>> while preserving the PHP
?LockArrayRepository type strength: Request.locked_repository, Locker
::get_locked_repository, and the installer create_* helpers now thread
the typed handle instead of an owned LockArrayRepository, and pool
builder identity check becomes a strict ptr_eq via widening into
RepositoryInterfaceHandle.

Replace the dyn ConstraintInterface trait objects with an AnyConstraint
enum closing over its four implementors (Simple, Multi, MatchAll,
MatchNone), mirroring the earlier Rule enum conversion. Rename
constraint.rs to simple_constraint.rs to match the renamed Constraint
type.

Mechanically convert promise-returning function bodies to async/await:
resolve() returns the value directly, forwarding calls get .await, and
simple .then chains become await sequences. Also collapse the installer
double-Option (Result<Option<Option<PhpMixed>>> -> Result<Option<PhpMixed>>).
Hard spots that depend on the Loop::wait / job-machine boundary
(accept/reject orchestration, closures capturing &mut self, batch waits)
are left intact and marked with TODO(phase-c-promise) for manual porting.
The crate does not compile yet; traits still need #[async_trait].

Model PHP's `Composer extends PartialComposer` as a PartialOrFullComposer
enum and merge partial_composer.rs into composer.rs. Introduce
ComposerHandle / PartialComposerHandle (plus their Weak variants) so the
graph can be shared, and build it at once with Rc::new_cyclic in the
factory to resolve the back-reference cycles.
